Shore Cultural Centre in downtown Euclid is offering two weeks of classes and activities, completely free, beginning June 3 and running through June 18, 2011. The event kicks off with the opening of the farmers’ market June 3, from 4-8pm, where they’ll feature children’s crafts, live music and cooking demos along with locally grown produce and baked goods.
Over the next two weeks visitors can sample more than 30 offerings, including pottery, music, theater, yoga, sewing, airbrushing, Mommy and Me time and much more. There’s something for every age and interest, giving residents and visitors a unique chance to sample new art forms and stretch their creativity. “This is just one way Shore Cultural Centre gives back to the community,” says Development Director Sarah Gyorki. “We want everyone to get a chance to find out about the great things going on here at Shore. And it’s also a great chance to check out downtown Euclid – take a walk along the lake, have lunch, make a day of it. We want families to have a fun, free day out and engage in the arts and the community. This is what Shore Cultural Centre is all about.”
A complete schedule of offerings is available on the Shore website: www.shoreculturalcentre.org.
