Cleveland Public Theatre presents the world-premiere of 13 Most American Dreams

Artistic Director Raymond Bobgan presents the world premiere of 13 Most American Dreams, directed by inaugural Director Fellow Pandora Robertson.

13 Most American Dreams provides contrasting snapshots of contemporary culture and its attitudes and relationships to dreaming. Subconscious dreams, daydreams, phobias and fears are all explored through movement, music and live streaming video. Live social networking feeds have also been incorporated to encourage audience participation. At most performances you have to turn off your phone, 13 Most American Dreams wants you to turn it on! Conceived and directed by Pandora Robertson the ensemble cast includes: Amy Compton, Benjamin Gregg, Caitlin Lewins, Aimee Lu (Ai), Anne McEvoy and Darius Stubbs.

Creative team includes: Eunsu Kang (New Media Artist), Sarah Greywitt (Assistant Director), Joe Burke (Lighting Designer), Ian Petroni (Set and Props Designer), Inda Blatch-Geib (Costume Designer) and Michael Bratt (Music Composer).

Pandora Robertson, one of the inaugural CPT’s Director Fellows, a program designed to nurture emerging directors of extraordinary potential, and funded by long-time CPT firend Joan Yellen Horvitz. Robertson earned a Master of Arts in Theater Arts from Case Western University. Her extensive portfolio includes directing, acting, dancing and choreography at Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Cleveland Play House, Dobama Theatre, Porthouse Theatre, and Ensemble Theatre. Last season in Big Box, CPT’s festival of new work, Ms. Robertson introduced her original play, Voice Over. This season, she recently created Crash Project a short work for At-TEN-tion Span.

13 Most American Dreams opens at CPT Friday, May 18 and runs thru Saturday, June 2, (with a preview Thursday, May 17) in the Storefront Studio, 6415 Detroit Avenue in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District.
Performances are at 7:00pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday.
Tickets are $10- $25, with free beer on Fridays after the show!
