“Mint Condition” an exhibition by graduating seniors of Kent State University, School of Visual Communication

2012 Senior Photo-Illustration Exhibition
May 4 – May 13, 2012

Opening Reception: 6-9 PM, Friday, May 4th

The Kent State University, School of Visual Communication presents Mint Condition, an exhibition of photographic works by 2012 graduating seniors. The exhibition will showcase a selection of images ranging from location portraiture to delicate still lives from photographers Ellen Brinich, Heather Campbell, Katherine Case, Devin Casper, Spenser Dickerson, Sam Hedrick, and Kristen Swartz. Kent State University’s 2011 Photo-illustration alumni have also been invited to exhibit select works from their current portfolios.

Kent State’s Photo-Illustration program prepares students for careers in studio and illustrative commercial photography. Photo-Illustrators are intermediaries between clients and their audiences, acting as interpreters and messengers in photographic form for commerce, industry, and culture at large.

Please join us for the Mint Condition After-Party, hosted at Lava Lounge, immediately following the gallery reception on May 4th. A swank atmosphere with live DJ, sumptuous foods and artfully-crafted drinks welcome gallery show-goers. An exhibition of artworks from the gallery’s consignment collection will be on view in the downstairs lounge. Lava Lounge is located at 1307 Auburn Avenue, in the historic Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland.

Mint Condition opens with a reception at the gallery 6-9 PM, Friday, May 4th. An after-party at Lava Lounge follows, 9 PM – ? AM.
