Class Descriptions:

Pre-school Classes (Ages 3-5):

Young Storytellers
Through puppetry, voice, storytelling, games and movement, children explore their imaginations to create characters who tell a story—allowing each child’s creativity to soar while teaching listening, teamwork, self-confidence, and constructive play.
Kids (Ages 6-10):
Yes, And…
Students learn to develop creativity through improvisational games and technique, learning to communicate through created dialog, scenes, and characters.

Moving is Creating
Students will learn to create characters and scenarios without the use of words. Imaginations soar as stories and worlds are explored through movement.

Acting Together
Through puppetry, masks, theatre games and story exploration, students learn to work as an ensemble, creating stories as a team. Imagination and confidence are nurtured and encouraged in this creative environment.

Early Teens (Ages 11-14):
The Art of Moving
Students discover how to move their bodies and act out exciting stories without using words, all the while finding the sense of play and purpose in stage movement.
Creative Storytelling
Through theatre games, exercises, puppets and character focus, students work together to tell a story as a troupe. Creativity soars while learning and refining individual confidence and group cooperation.
Improv: A Sense of Play
Through improvisational games and practice, students learn how to develop characters, play well with others onstage, and give gifts for better scenes.
